    Indenture testifying that (1) has, by a simple charter (par une chartre simple) [= AR/20/3], enfeoffed (2)-(3) of the manor of Lanhern, with fees, and the advowsons of Sent Columbe and Sent Maugan; on the following conditions:

    When (1), by advice of Oliver Sent John, wishes to have recovery of the manor, fees and advowsons, (2)-(3) shall re-enfeoff him of them, for (1) and his heirs male from the body of Isabel daughter of Thomas de Molton, knight, to hold for ever of the chief lords of the fee, by services due; with remainder, if (1) dies without heirs male of the body of Isabel, to the heirs of body of John son of (1); in default of his heirs of body, remainder to the heirs male of body of (1); in default of such heirs, remainder to Oliver de Sent John for term of his life; after his death, remainder to John de Sent John, elder son of Oliver, for term of his life; after his death, remainder to the heirs male of Oliver from the body of Elizabeth daughter of John de La Beere, knight; in default of such heirs, remainder to Margaret daughter of (1), wife of Reginald Beuyle, for term of her life; after her death, remainder to Ralph son of Reginald and Margaret, for term of his life; after his death, remainder to Ralph Soor de Taluren and his heirs male of his body; in default of such heirs, remainder to John Colyn de Lannanta and his heirs male from the body of Rose his wife, cousin to (1); in default of such heirs, remainder to the true heirs of (1) for ever.

    If, before the time of re-feoffment by (2)-(3) to (1), (1) wishes to take another estate of the manor, fees and advowsons and to change the remainders, then (2)-(3) shall re-enfeoff him and entail the remainders as (1), by the advice of Oliver Seint John, shall decide. Such ordinances, estates and wills shall be performed during the life of John Arundell, son of John Arundell de Treloy, son of (1). If (1) dies before the re-feoffment, then (2)-(3) shall make a feoffment of them to the heirs male of (1) from the body of Isabel, and shall entail the remainders as above.

    After his death they shall remain to John Arundel de Treloy, Joan his wife, and John's heirs of body; with remainder after John's death, in default of such heirs, to Oliver de Seyntjon for term of his life; remainder, after his death, to John his eldest son; remainder, after his death, to Oliver's heirs male from the body of Elizabeth daughter of John de La Beer, knight; remainder, if Oliver's heirs male by Elizabeth die without heirs of body, to Margaret wife of Reginald Beuyle and to Ralph their son, and to Ralph's heirs male of his body; remainder, in default of such heirs, to Ralph Soor or his heirs male of his body; remainder, in default of such heirs, to John Colyn de Lananta and the heirs male of Rose his wife, cousin of (3); remainder, after John Colyn's death, in default of such heirs, to the true heirs of (3) for ever.

    (1)-(2) to (3)-(4), the manor of Conerton with the advowson of its church, together with the hundred of Penwyth and its bailiffry, the manors of Tredreysek, Tremblyth and Medesole together with fairs and markets of the manor of Medesole, and all messuages, etc., and liberties belonging to the manors, hundred, etc., except for the manors of Lanhern and Treloy; for (3)-(4) to hold from John Arundel, knight, during his lifetime; after his death the lands shall remain to the heir of John Arundell knight by Elizabeth daughter of Oliver de Carminou.

    If the heirs of John son of John Arundell knight by Elizabeth die without heir of their bodies, then the lands shall remain to Oliver de Sent John during his life, and after his death to John, Oliver's eldest son, during his life, and after John's death to Oliver's heirs male by body of Elizabeth daughter of John de la Beer, knight. If the heirs male of Oliver by body of Elizabeth die without heir of their bodies, the lands shall remain to Margaret wife of Reginald Beuyle and Ralph their son; after the deaths of Margaret and Ralph they shall remain to Ralph Soor de Taluren and his heirs male of his body. If Ralph Soor dies without heirs male of his body, they shall remain to John Colyn de Lannanta and his heirs male of the body of Rose his wife, kinswoman of John Arundell knight. Warranty during the life of John Arundell knight.
